Time for dissection - In this 3 hour class you will learn about what makes your bike go round. Anything that spins on your bike will do so because of ball bearings, and these systems need to be maintained in order for your bike to run smoothly.

You will learn:

  • What bearing systems are made up of

  • How to do a hub service on a front hub

  • How to remove and install a 1” threaded headset

  • Different types of bottom brackets

  • How to remove a square taper bottom bracket

  • What sealed bearings are

  • What press fit systems are

Note that we will not cover the removal/installation of press fit bearings.

No bike is necessary, you will be learning on our equipment.
